What it needs from you
A trained person on shore, watching it fly. What you are seeing is the automatic path we are building toward — it is not certified for unsupervised flight, and the shipping system keeps a person in the loop.
A charged aircraft and two canisters on the rack. A canister is single-use and gets swapped after every drop.
A clear view of the water and about 4 m of pad, outside the swim zone. It flies low — never above 10 m.
What it is not
It is not a life jacket. The tube is flotation to hold on to, not something you wear, and it is not a USCG-approved PFD.
It does not search. It goes to the position the wristband sends. No wristband, no drop.
It does not call 911, and it does not replace your lifeguards or instructors. It sits beside them, as one more layer.
